He overheard Stiles talking to Deaton.

Great. How bad was that conversation?

[The wolf gives a bit of a frown.]

The fox was curled up in the bathroom close to tears.

[There's a sigh, frowning a bit]

Thanks for taking care of him.

It's my fox. I'm going to take care of him.

[There's a small smile at that. He was glad the fox was being looked out for by the wolf, definitely]

How long have you been awake?

[Because he needs to rest if it's been like nonstop]

I showed up a few days ago when the fox got upset. Been awake since then.

You need to get some rest. The fox is doing better now, and I can help him out while you sleep.

I don't want to rest though. I want to be able to make sure he stays fine.

[It aso means the wolf has had a taste of human body too... So, he doesn't want to let it go.]

[There's a soft smile, figuring he'll give the wolf the option if he wanted it.]

[The wolf frowns a bit, getting a little confused. The fact that Stiles hasn't complained about him being out this long kind of worries him too.]

Don't you need time with your mate though?

Sounds like you might want some time with yours.

[There's a bit of a chuckle, teasing the wolf a bit, at that. He had a feeling it might go over the others head.]

It's something I'd like, though, yeah.

[That statement definitely goes over the wolf's head and it shows in those cold steel blue eyes.]

He might be tired when you get him back though.

[It might take a few minutes but Derek would eventually have his human back. Though Stiles is a bit tired, like the wolf said he'd be.]

[Derek waited patiently, for Stiles to be awake enough to do anything, smiling softly to the other]

[To be honest, he doesn't want to get up. So he doesn't. Which is why he gives Derek a small smile.]

[He's smiling softly, moving to press a gentle kiss to Stiles' lips]

[He kisses him back and moves a bit to lean into him.]

That was a little weird.

[Derek held the other close and smiled softly, pressing another kiss to his boyfriends lips]

I'm sure it was. Guess I was lucky enough to just be knocked out the whole time, than.

[There's a bit of a chuckle, nuzzling close]

Guess you were. It's going to be weird for you if you're awake when it happens.
