The only place she knows to go is to the woods. A place she used to feel safe at when she was younger. When things were simpler. Hell, when it was just her and Ronny versus the world. It doesn't, unfortunately, stop her from punching a nearby tree. Punching the damn thing until her knuckles split and bled. When she has worn herself out she slides down against the nearest tree and pulls out her notebook, but it was hard to see the pages through the tears. Through the war raging in her mind.

"Red." Jay was the one to speak as he stepped closer to her, not afraid of getting yelled at or told to go away. He didn't care. He reached pulled his zip-up hoodie off, offering it to her as a temporary solution for the bleeding knuckles. "You seriously need to stop overreacting to opinions. Also maybe try plainly stating your views on situations before they're ruined for you." Bluntness was one thing the guy was good for, and Ronny looked almost mortified at his saying something like that as bluntly as he did.

The hoodie is taken, slipped on and once on she wraps her arms around herself. This wasn't the Queen that most knew. No, this was a side of her that only Ronny had ever seen but that was when they were children. When she'd lock herself away and not talk to anyone or anything for that matter. "It was already ruined for me," she whispers, barely even looking from where she'd pulled her knees up to her chest and laid her head on her knees.

"Frederick and Danny figured you would refer to them in conversation because of infamy that they had in school. That they still have in the town. Not because of being part of some group you decided was had. Your methods are very much beat around the bush compared to what they need and that just doesn't always work out. As we're seeing right now."
He blinked as he caught the small hare out of the corner of his eyes going to Red, hesitant the entire time, not sure if she wanted the comfort he was offering.
Ronny carefully lifted himself up onto his back paws before hesitantly placing one of the front ones on her leg, ears pressed back as he offered comfort. Something he would do when they were children less hesitantly, but he wasn't sure of what things were like anymore.
And Jay used that as an example. "This guy, for example. He's been unsure what you thought of him for years. Because you never once went to him and said 'I want to bring you up with me. I care so much about you and never want to lose you'" It was obvious to him how things works in her mind, but alas.

Frederick Ormus / The Dormouse
Re: Frederick Ormus / The Dormouse
Where the fuck did I decide to hide out?
[There was an eyebrow raise as he whispered to himself, staying as low as possible, head snapping to where he thought he heard and perhaps even caught a bit of movement, eyes widening as he tensed up immediately.
Frederick meanwhile was having his probably third nap of the day since waking up and was fast asleep.]

Though she'd seen him. Just wanted to see what he was doing first.]

[Oh, the kitten hears the sirens and sniffs at Alec's fingers when he's suddenly crouched down before her. Those fingers, for a moment, get licked and possibly even nipped.
Then she's shifting, leaving a naked body before him. Crouching low on the floor in front of him.]
Really, Alec? Out of all the homes you invade it has to be mine?

Red Travers / Red Queen
Re: Red Travers / Red Queen
So, he shuffled his way into the library, boredly looking around for the Queen B and whether or not she had her fellow Queen and that lovely little lizard with her. He was pretty sure he saw Jay in the gym. Alas, her table was unusually empty, so he stretched his arms out as his eyes glowed, pulling a seat out for himself as he plopped down once he got close enough, leaning back a bit]
Any specific reason you're choosing to sit alone?
[There was a yawn from the dormouse as though he had just woken up from a nap.
no subject
Raising a brow, she shakes her head and goes back to her book.]
What's it to you if I sit alone or not, Frederick?
no subject
[He's scanning the bookshelf behind her, holding one hand out as his eyes flashed again, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn flying from the shelf to his hand. The chances of him reading much were unlikely, but it was a way to keep him awake enough]
So why is it so rare to see you and Ronny in the same room? Blood that bad between you and his sister? I mean I've seen you when you catch him in the halls on his way to class or something. There's some history between you and I've gotta say - [Yawwwwwwn] I'm curious.
no subject
Take your curiosity somewhere else. It's none of your business what goes on or doesn't between myself and Ronny. Nor my sister's play toy.

So come his crashing into someone, there's a surprised gasp as he quickly backs up and tenses up, eyes wide and going to that bright light blue as he subconsciously sets up a semi-solid shield around him for the moment]
Sorry! I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going, any damage to your books I can help pay for, I promise!
[And he was aiming to help to get the books and anything dropped up before he properly realized who he bumped into being Red, his eyes still bright, but he reigned the shield in, actively aware he was doing it. He didn't know if anyone else had seen it. Nevermind he was dealing with a bruised right upper arm at the moment.
no subject
Hey, it's not a big deal. They're just books.
[Once that shield is dropped she bends down to help pick up the rest of her books. However, there was something that she'd noticed.]
What's wrong with your arm, Ronny?
no subject
O-on my way home yesterday, I slammed my arm against the wall. L-lost my balance and was going too fast, is all.
[There was no eye contact. Ronny was, and always would be, a terrible liar. Especially to people he cared about.]
no subject
Don't do that. Don't you lie to me. Who did it?

Dinah / The Kitten
Re: Dinah / The Kitten
I swear to god I'm lucky half my teachers let me record the class both audio and video, otherwise I'd be screwed.
[There was a groan from the small blonde as she stepped into the house]
You worry too much. We're here to chill out and hang out with Fredericks newest roommate.
Don't lie, you're here to float around until I fall asleep
[There was a hum and cheeky grin before Danny yelped, falling to his feet and stumbling at the lack of warning to the other stopping using his powers]
Rude

Dinah, right?
Yup. She's pretty playful, by the way.
Are you attempting to enable me into playing with your new kitten?
[There was a yawn and shrug as he moved to get some drinks from the kitchen]
