[No matter what was being said, it was a damn riddle and she didn't like it. However, she just leans into Ronny a bit and listens.]

Who's the son?

[Now? She's curious. Though she's also tempted to get up and walk out too. After all, she's tired of these riddles.]

And are we going to meet the others to bring us there?

No one knows who the son is. Even in Wonderland. The only clue we've got is 'Al'. The actual Caterpillar definitely has the good stuff.

[And Cat's standing up to push his chair over to Frederick who's immediately sitting down]

Well, you've met one, already. Very timely young gentleman. Probably never paid him much mind but he's surprisingly more attentive than any of you. [A beat] Mostly.

So the White Rabbit? [Frederick rose an eyebrow from the desk chair, sounding more calm, closer to the tired tone he usually held already.]

Yup. White Rabbit.

Al?

[That sounded far too damn familiar and she wasn't entirely sure why. However, at the mention of meeting the very timely young gentleman it causes her to frown slightly. Things were getting way out of hand but she's trying to just sit and listen.]

Maybe it's time we meet all of them then.

[Cat gave a shrug]

That's all the Caterpillar was able to tell us. That if the son truly did exist and wasn't just thrown in as a precaution if Alice wasn't Alice.

[There's a shrug before another student stomps in with a huff.]

Superintendent, you NEED to do something about the timing for these classes or at least the size of the campus it's- Oh.

[And he sees the students. And Red. All of them he recognizes and if they recognize him, even if not by name, he'll shift a bit as Cat raises an eyebrow]

Nevermind.

No, no, Josh, it's fine. So how many of you know Josh Whittmore?

[Relatively blank stares and Ronny will look over and shyly wave to him and get an eyebrow raise from Josh thus putting his hand down and cuddling against Red instead.]

Look, I've only got ten minutes before my next class which is, surprise surprise, an eleven and a half minute walk away. With the one teacher on this campus that matters to.

[Cat will raise an eyebrow before moving to pull a notepad out and write something out on it]

Next time run. You were on track in high school, weren't you?

Yeah, but I'm out of practice now.

[And Frederick's raising an eyebrow at this whole thing, not knowing what's going on or anything]

[When the other boy happens to stomp into the room it has Red raising a brow.]

I know him.

[She's walked by him a few times on her way to certain classes. Though she honestly doesn't like the look that he's giving. Something was definitely up with that. As was all the things Cat was throwing out there at Josh. Though she does lean into Ronny when he cuddles against her, her hand reaching down to take his in her own.]

[Cat rose an eyebrow]

You're not that out've practice. [And his demeanor changed back to how the kids were seeing him before. And in a flash, Josh was sitting on the desk, looking around]

Fair enough.

[And here was Ronny getting nice and comfortable cuddled next to Red as Jay glanced over giving a squeak at the sudden appearance on the desk of the boy, eyes wide]

Wh-what? [And another squeak, eyes wide]

Joshua Whittmore. Varsity track, chorus, manipulators of minds, and- Oh crap.

[He's pointing to Red]

I forgot you when I first got here. To be fair, it's because these two really didn't like you. [gesturing to Frederick and Danny] Tolerated you, not your biggest fans, though. Sorry. You would've welcomed Alice in with open arms otherwise [Sheepish grin]

[All the while leaving Ronny sitting there wide eyed still, holding Red's hand still and so confused]

I'm easily forgettable.

[Whether she was being serious or not was a whole other story. She could be teasing. Though she does lay her head on Ronny's shoulder giving a shrug at the mention of Alice.]

You're right, I would've. However, what's done is done. Things will change if and when they change. As for tolerating me, that'll never happen.

[She sounds serious but there's a grin there when she says it.]

[Ronny wasn't in the right position to see that grin on her face but Jay gave him a look saying she was joking because he saw it. And so he relaxed a bit]

Do we go to school with anyone else that's important?

[Cat and Josh looked over, Josh raising an eyebrow.]

A hare without his speed, yet. If you met your way to unlock that bit, trust me. You'd know. He's stuck in Wonderland with the Hatter and the Dormouse. We lost contact with most everyone else and some are dead.

[RONNY THINKS HE SHOULD FEEL INSULTED BUT HE'S JUST CONFUSED???]

[That gets a deep frown out of her.]

Who all are dead?

[That was one of the most important question here. Who in the hell was dead and who had killed them?]

On our end? Walrus, Dodo, Caterpillar's in critical condition, Alice has been gone for ages, me and Cat are both presumed dead, the White Queen is also being held prisoner in her own mind. Their end only has one death, though, and that's the Queen of Hearts. Red Queen did it herself once she failed to do as was needed. Seems your queen is smarter, though, jumping right into helping out with her plan.

[Josh gave a shrug, lifting a finger to pause any more conversation as he pulled out a pocket watch, opening it and giving a bit of a wince as the outside world paused, even if no one in the room would realize]

The Red Queen used the Jabberwocky for most of the kills, but she took down Alice as her first before killing the Queen of Hearts.

[Red sits back and listens to what they're being told. How some are dead and others are in critical condition. Also, how the Queen seemed to... Well, she really doesn't want to think about it.]

What're you talking about? Jumping in to help out with her plan.

[She REALLY hated being as confused as she was.]

The Red Queen, both the original and her descendant or whatever you want to call her, ruled, or rule, Wonderland with an insanely strong iron fist. Kinda shows why completely opposite forces- Haaaaaa. I did something good.

[Josh is looking to Cat briefly]

I thought I fucked up, but imagine if she wound up becoming best friends with Red.

Red's not that bad, actually.

[There's a shrug from Cat and Ronny's sitting here staring at them like they're insane, wrapping an arm around Red.]

I see what you mean, though. Her spending more time with the boys makes it a lot easier than if it was split evenly.

[And the fact they're talking about Red like she's a potential bad guy is frustrating Ronny and he's shifting a bit.

So Jay speaks up with a whistle at both of them for attention.]

Hey. Yeah. Back to the issue at hand. What the hell is going on and if you say anything that could be taken as offensive toward her, tell me where you want me to avoid hitting, and I'll hit it. [Promise not a threat]

Right [Sigh from Josh]

War in Wonderland, Red Queen wanted to get rid of magic except for her so she could rule, we managed to keep her from doing that so she's gonna try taking over earth. Needed to find the earth equivilants to each of the Wonderland fighters. Two for the case of our lovely Red Queen.

[Red sits back and listens, frowning slightly. Her jaw was clenched in annoyance because all of this made no sense whatsoever. Actually, it was more than an annoyance.]

Alice being the second one?

[Even if she didn't like the girl to save her life.]

So how do we get our magic back?

We didn't even tell you that Alice getting befriended by the Red Queen is what twisted her so badly. And she used magic to start screwing with this world almost immediately.

[There's a sigh and a shrug]

'Stab the heart' is more figurative and less stabby sword literal. It's almost the same as 'draw the blood of your enemy' or something like that.

We're having a blood drive later today. Reward for it is a certificate for a day spa. Get the queen or hearts somewhere that she'll get stabbed and it counts.

Unless you wanna stab her. You already raked her face, so people wouldn't be too surprised.

[There's a shrug from Josh as he looks to Red]

Wonderland riddles might sound like 'Oh man I have to kill someone' but they're not. It's how the cats tell them and the caterpillars write 'em.

So you want more blood drawn is what you're saying?

[Though, really, Red would like to do more than draw blood from the bitch. She already drew it though and knows that it was enough to leave scars along the other girl's face.]

Only way the two bit bitch would have anything to do with something like that is if Ronny was there. I'm not putting him through the hell of her again.

[If they wanted blood there was probably still some under Red's nails.]

If... If it helps, I'd be willing to, though...

[And he was quiet about it since Red seemed adamantly against it and he didn't want to seem like he wanted to completely defy her.]

Does... It have draw blood entirely...?

[Cat spoke up, and sighed, figuring he'd be as clear as he could be for the moment as Frederick finished his tea, glancing over, looking much closer to the calm, about to fall asleep, yet still attentive, boy the group had practically grown up with.]

Nope. It needs to be a puncture wound, though. Slashing doesn't count because Wonderland rules are very tricky that way. Sometimes it's all about 'Well is she bleeding'? Other times it's all about "No, stab the woman that has the name of Queen of Hearts"

[And then his attention is grabbed, so he's leaving the room for a minute in a colorful streamline of smoke, leaving Josh as the one in charge of this conversation. So he'll pull his pocket watch out again and play with the chain briefly]

I would have waited for Alice to show up, but seeing as most all of you are here already, would you like a history lesson on a completely different world?
