Alright, how do you even know me?

[This is serious now. He has an idea he'll be apologetic about this later but right now he remembers a girl with blonde hair but not much about specifics]

[Raises a brow, but it's not like amnesia is new to her being one herself. But still there's something that sounds entertaining about messing with Lucas. So that gets a nod and a smile.]

[ Because, unfortunately, she's already watched a bunch of people maim themselves and die because they're dumbasses. And you know. Feels people having sex because empathetic bonds and everyone's adults, but she doesn't say that. ]

[But where was she in this? No, she doesn't doubt she was there with Riley. Just from what everyone's told her who saw her memories.]

Kinda faded out as I left the bakery. I remember thinking I had to get to Riley and get more information about it, though. Figure out why she didn't tell me.

[Though talking with Lark I'm sure he has some kinda idea]

[But she wanted to see Texas!Lucas--no.]

Guess I have a real reason to get back there now.

You didn't have any other reason to get back there?

[Well, she could explain that she remembers dying so she's dead and thereby. Traveling with dead people while getting maimed and tortured a bunch, but that's probably not the best thing to tell Lucas. Because she tries to avoid all that and let her teammates do their thing, so unless they win she's not super behind. Doing the things. Not yet anyway, so she's probably not going to get back anytime soon. But if it's for Riley...

She pulls a face and shrugs.]

It just sounds like I have some butt to get back and kick now.

When I asked her if she remembered it, she told me not to worry about it. I don't think she'd let anyone handle this situation for her.

She seemed to know what memory it was the second she saw me and didn't let me get a word in before talkin' a million words a second.

[Only thing that matters, to be honest, since it seems too nice her to be part of the forest. Where you have to keep walking or risk being destroyed.]

And not entirely... She's been helpin' me out and understands it pretty well, though.

[Visibly relaxes at least. Because she doubts she'll get to stick around and any place has to be better than the forest.]

I'll do my best. Ain't exactly the safest area we're in right now, either.

[But now I want the two of them to have a meeting when they get home or something too /sob]

[ Considering in a "nice" game she just had teammates get their arms cut off. At least Kyr only maims when they're told to. ]

[Because he's died. He knows Riley's died but he's not sharing that.]

[ Kind of gives a huff at that and then reaches out to take his forearm carefully. Because he'll notice that her skin is cold to the touch and just in the sense that, you know, she's cold. ]

We're all dead there. It's a requirement. You die, you get to go there to try and come back to life. Yatta, yatta, yatta. It's basically a daily affair to watch someone cut off an arm or something. Or have a date with an insect as your new tongue.

[There's a frown at how cold she is and heaves a sigh]

Riley and I have both died in games. I wasn't able to help her the first time she died because I wasn't there yet. Don't think she even would've let me save her.
