General musebox-y feel shennanigans/playing with him after dealing with the shit I will have him go through because I'm not nice Anyone thinking I'm a nice person is wrong.
[ WHO KNOWS HOW IT HAPPENS. Let's blame Aather for winning the teamnesia universe lottery and opening all the worlds or something. But at one point a girl who may not yet look familiar stumbles into Kyriakos not in the color that coordinates with one of the teams. It's somewhat too dark to be Epona blue.
She doesn't really seem too phased-- or maybe she's pretending not to be. But her Larkspur blue clothing is torn up and dirty and it doesn't really look like she's slept in a proper place for a few days at least. Skin too pale and body cold to the touch, but she tries to not let that bother her.
However, it's kind of different to show up in a nice country like place with an Aurora and sun when the last place you were at was a forest filled wit monsters and some weird sludge thing that would kill you if you went back. Let's not do that. The sudden disconnect from the empathetic bond with Larkspur is also alarming, which is why she turns around--
And catches sight of him. Frowning because his clothing definitely isn't any team color she's seen and why would he be here. She might only have a couple memories but she didn't want any of the people in her memories here--]
[He'd been there just long enough to start getting memories of back home, but not many were back, yet. He blinked over to where the nickname had come from and frowned a bit]
Do I know you?
[Said with a bit of an edge because whoa no why are you calling me Ranger Rick you jerk little blonde?]
[This is serious now. He has an idea he'll be apologetic about this later but right now he remembers a girl with blonde hair but not much about specifics]
[Raises a brow, but it's not like amnesia is new to her being one
herself. But still there's something that sounds entertaining about messing
with Lucas. So that gets a nod and a smile.]
I come from the future. I came back in time to tell you what a bad, bad boy
you are.
That the best excuse you got? I've been here long enough to remember kickin' some kid all the way to the ER back in Texas. You seriously gonna give me some sarcastic excuse like that?
[He remembers Riley too, though. But I'm having that specific instance be one of his most recent memories]
Is that supposed to have me shaking in my boots? 'Cause, hate to break it to you, Cowboy but your nice sunny place isn't nothing like the forest.
[ Because, unfortunately, she's already watched a bunch of people maim themselves and die because they're dumbasses. And you know. Feels people having sex because empathetic bonds and everyone's adults, but she doesn't say that. ]
Whatever bad things you've done ain't that scary. So let's jam. Know a kid named Zay?
Kinda faded out as I left the bakery. I remember thinking I had to get to Riley and get more information about it, though. Figure out why she didn't tell me.
[Though talking with Lark I'm sure he has some kinda idea]
[Well, she could explain that she remembers dying so she's dead and thereby. Traveling with dead people while getting maimed and tortured a bunch, but that's probably not the best thing to tell Lucas. Because she tries to avoid all that and let her teammates do their thing, so unless they win she's not super behind. Doing the things. Not yet anyway, so she's probably not going to get back anytime soon. But if it's for Riley...
She pulls a face and shrugs.]
It just sounds like I have some butt to get back and kick now.
[ Kind of gives a huff at that and then reaches out to take his forearm carefully. Because he'll notice that her skin is cold to the touch and just in the sense that, you know, she's cold. ]
We're all dead there. It's a requirement. You die, you get to go there to try and come back to life. Yatta, yatta, yatta. It's basically a daily affair to watch someone cut off an arm or something. Or have a date with an insect as your new tongue.
[There's a frown at how cold she is and heaves a sigh]
Riley and I have both died in games. I wasn't able to help her the first time she died because I wasn't there yet. Don't think she even would've let me save her.

[Wow, don't be a brat Lucas. She huffs and folds her arms, quirking a brow.]
What happened? You miss a rodeo?

[Maybe now he'll get actual answers from her. Had a feeling not straightforward and not without more poking fun at Texan roots, but still]
no subject
Well, there ya, go. I'm from the future and the two of you wind up in New York.
[Quirks brow because are you going to deny that, Luca. Are you.]
no subject
[There's a shrug.]
no subject
Your future, Ranger Rick. How else would I know all about Grandpa Pappy and your good buddy Zay?
no subject
[Hint he remembers Farkle! I'd have his first Maya memory be 'I want you to call me Mad Dog' BIT'VE HURT I'M SURE.]
no subject
[SADLY. She kind of shared that memory with someone but doesn't have it, oops.]
no subject
[There's a beat because he's gotta commend them for how well they did with towels]
With towels so I've gotta give 'em props for that.
no subject
Uh-huh. And why were they doing that?
no subject
[Suffice to say it did not work. Entirely.]
I took two parts've the counter off with me as I left.
no subject
[Yeah, okay, so on one hand being strong enough to break things on the other--]
Wait. What was that about Riley?
[BECAUSE HER GIRL >| ]

[But where was she in this? No, she doesn't doubt she was there with Riley. Just from what everyone's told her who saw her memories.]
And did you?

no subject
[He knows it's not the exact location but makes things easier than 'the castle' or something like that.]
She seemed to know what memory it was the second she saw me and didn't let me get a word in before talkin' a million words a second.
no subject
[Only thing that matters, to be honest, since it seems too nice her to be part of the forest. Where you have to keep walking or risk being destroyed.]
Well, that's Riley for you. Guess you don't know how to talk to her yet, Ranger Rick.
no subject
And not entirely... She's been helpin' me out and understands it pretty well, though.
no subject
She does that, too, but you'd best make sure nothing happens to her, got it?
no subject
[But now I want the two of them to have a meeting when they get home or something too /sob]
no subject
[ Considering in a "nice" game she just had teammates get their arms cut off. At least Kyr only maims when they're told to. ]
Going with an assumption for a game ending because Lucas is a stupid reckless boy sometimes
[Because he's died. He knows Riley's died but he's not sharing that.]
