[He's getting annoyed by the minute.]

It chose wrong. Enough said. You won't change my mind on that.

Alright. The bite chose wrong. There's nothing we can do about it now, though.

[There's a beat]

I believe there's someone here who can help to calm the fox down from his current panicked, unwanted state. But there needs to be the promise of behaving in my building. There are still one of two holes from your mother.

I'm sure I could find a way around it.

[Except that those eyes flash cold steel blue and the wolf decides to take completely over, coming to the forefront. However, it stands there a moment trying to figure out how to work the human body itself. Tempted to go back to full wolf shift. Those steel blue eyes, however, turn to look at Deaton. Almost as if to say 'Now what' since he's not tried talking yet.]

[Deaton smiled a bit to the wolf]

I'm fairly certain you might be the only one able to calm the fox down. I'll open the partition for you.

[If it's closed. Which it mostly had so he'll lead the wolf over, opening it and gesturing to the bathroom where the fox is still curled up in the corner, eyes closed and trying to block out all the noise and actively is trying to will Derek better.]

[The wolf gives Deaton a smile which felt weird to do in the human body. However, once that partition is open he moves over and slips down onto the floor, pulling the fox close to him. Those arms wrapping around the other.]

[The fox was caught off guard but leaned into the hold, wrapping his arms around the other as well and nuzzling close, giving a bit of a whimper, having been tearing up the entire time, trying to not outright cry]

[He just holds the fox close, tightly as he nuzzles him.]

I'll fix him.

[Or try to anyway. Even if his version of fixing someone might not make Derek happy. Also, talking was weird.]

[The fox nuzzled back, curling against the other]

I just want to go home.

[His voice was thick from trying to not cry, but being on the verge during the entire conversation he had been listening to and trying to ignore]

[He nuzzles him again.]

We can go home.

[He's got no clue what they'll do, but they could go home.]

[He nuzzled back and nodded, definitely content with that idea.

They walked back to the loft, once there, the fox going to sit on the couch, curled up and losing himself in thought briefly]

Should I sleep?

[Let Derek heal up completely on his own? He looked to the wolf, not sure of what course of action to take, if he'd done the right thing or not]

[The wolf sits beside the fox and keeps him held close.]

I think you need the rest. You've been through a lot.

But... Should I stay asleep until Derek is better...?

[He nuzzles close to the wolf, questioning his decisions and everything now]

[The wolf makes a slight face at that.]

No. You can sleep a little bit but you don't have to stay asleep that long. Besides, he'll get better soon.

[There was a small nod before the fox moved to kiss the wolfs cheek, almost timidly]

Alright.

[thewolffenrir]

[That gets a smile out of the wolf and he kisses the fox's cheek in turn before getting comfortable. They both needed their rest.]

[The fox gives a nice, content sound before nuzzling close to the wolf, feeling himself dozing off, already, feeling safe in the arms of the other in any way or form.

When the fox was awake again, he didn't take to the forefront, just shifting a bit to a more comfortable position, likely in the bed.

Derek would come to with a groan some point in the late afternoon, opening his eyes slowly and making a face because he was still wiped out.]

[The wolf stays wrapped around the fox. When the other falls asleep he takes the fox to the bedroom, laying him down.

He shifts slightly but when Derek wakes there's a soft growl out of the human. We're sure at first the other might think it's Stiles being grumbly.]

Don't growl at me, I had a long day.

[There's a bit of a growl in response before he opens his eyes a bit more, blinking and ducking his head for a yawn]

How long was I out?

[thewolffenrir]

The fox had a long day. You weren't here.

[It's said with a slight growl. Pay attention, Derek, those eyes are cold steel blue. They're not your natural color.]

Been out for a day or so.

[myrules_myhouse]

[Give him a break he's still waking up but frowns a bit, focusing quicker and shifting to sit upright and look to 'Stiles'.]

... How...?

Doesn't matter how.

[It's said with a slight huff even as the wolf sits up.]

Just know I had to help the fox and the fox had your body.

What was wrong with the fox?

He overheard Stiles talking to Deaton.

Great. How bad was that conversation?
