Alright, I'll slack off a bit from now on.

Good. Because you do anything drastic and they'll call dad. Then dad will compliment it or say it needs to be done more.

Maybe because it does.

[There's an eyebrow raise and shrug of his shoulders]

No, Derek, it doesn't. If it needed to be done dad would've said so BEFORE now.

[That's his view on it.]

[He's just gonna give a sigh and another shrug. Acceptance of the situation was still fairly far off]

So what do we do now?

Go home and relax?

[There's a shrug. Relaxing would be on the harder side for him, but alas.]

Get ready for the same damned thing tomorrow.

[Though he doesn't honestly know what exactly.]

Alright. Did you have any plans?

[He really hates that shrug, really he does.]

Not exactly, no. Maybe I'll go visit my dad or Peter.

[That last bit was really just a bit of a tease.]

Or just go for a run in the woods.

[The idea of Stiles going to see Peter has a brief glare from Derek, knowing there was a tease to it, but he knew otherwise and just huffed, giving a shrug]

Be careful if you go for a run. The wolf might take it as an excuse to get out.

[Control is hard, after all, and they had just switched bodies. Not to mention Stiles was used to being only human.]

[Oh, he sees that glare from Derek and rolls his eyes a bit.]

Don't you worry about me, big guy. If I go for a run I'll make sure to keep the wolf on a tight leash.

You sure about that? It might be a bit tough for you.

[There's a chuckle and eyebrow raise. He understood how hard it was sometimes, at least.]

[Stiles' like of defense is a slight 'pfft' at his boyfriend.]

I would have no trouble whatsoever keeping your wolf at bay, you know.

[There's a silent shrug as Derek turns his attention back to the road as Stiles continued to drive]

[Well that got a verbal warning]

You're going to start running and he'll be itching to get out. He might even get aggravated at not being allowed and because you're not used to him, you might slip up. Hell I come close to slipping up sometimes. And I've got that personal connection with him

[His lack of faith is not because he thinks you are weak but because he knows his wolf can be a dick]

[His hand clenches around the steering wheel and he clenches his jaw.]

How about you have a little faith, Derek. How about that, huh? I'll be fine and your wolf won't get out.

If he knows what's best right now, like he should he won't.

Pull over and stop the car.

[Derek doesn't get a response to that, not really. Those eyes, however, flash and Stiles manages to pull the car over. What he doesn't expect is the pull of the wolf. It deciding to 'show' that damn human that he could take control whenever he wanted.

So instead of a human in the driver's seat, there's a big black wolf. We're sure that would look funny to anyone who drove by. A wolf in the driver's seat of a car.]

[And there was just a sigh, an eyebrow raising as he looked over to the wolf]

You can be a little child sometimes.

[Something he's probably shared before. SO NOW. He shifts to talk about something more serious]

You gonna sit calm for a minute? I'll let you out for a bit if you'll stay still and listen to me for a minute.

[He's looking right at the wolf for confirmation in this]

[There's a bit of a huff out of the wolf but the hand is nosed at since it was close to him. After all, he could stay calm and sit still long enough for whatever the other part of him had to say.]
